These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SernoPC website, products, services, custom PC builder, and any related communications or transactions (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the Services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any referenced policies (including our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and other posted notices). Supplemental terms may apply to certain features and will be presented at point of use.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher) to place orders. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspected misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

3. Orders & Pricing

All product listings, configurations, and prices are subject to change without notice. Placing items in a cart or beginning checkout does not guarantee availability. We reserve the right to cancel (and refund) orders affected by stock errors, pricing mistakes, or risk flags. Promotional offers may have additional conditions.

4. Payments

Payments are securely processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). By submitting payment details you represent you are authorized to use the payment method. We do not store full card numbers. Failed authorization may result in order cancellation.

5. PC Builder & Compatibility

The PC Builder tool provides guidance on component selection and indicates general compatibility based on public standards (e.g., socket, form factor, wattage). Compatibility suggestions are informational and not a performance guarantee. You are responsible for reviewing component specifications and intended usage (gaming, workstation, thermal environment). We are not liable for reduced performance due to user-selected configurations outside recommended parameters.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Estimated delivery times are approximate. Risk of loss and title pass upon delivery to the carrier unless otherwise required by law. Inspect packages upon arrival and notify us of shipping damage within 48 hours with photos.

7. Returns & Refunds

Our Return Policy describes eligible products, timeframes, condition requirements, restocking considerations, and refund methods. Customized or user-modified systems may have limited return eligibility. Software licenses, digital downloads, and consumables (e.g., thermal paste) are generally non-returnable unless defective.

8. Warranties & Disclaimers

Manufacturer warranties apply to individual components where offered. Unless explicitly stated, SernoPC does not provide additional express warranties. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SernoPC, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or hardware damage arising from improper installation, overclocking, firmware flashing, or third-party software interactions. Aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant order in the preceding six (6) months.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, service marks, logos, product names, and content (including images, text, layout, and builder logic) are owned by or licensed to SernoPC. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or reverse-engineer site features without prior written consent, except as allowed by applicable law.

11. Security & Data

You agree not to attempt unauthorized access, scanning, or load testing of our infrastructure. Report security concerns responsibly to security@sernopc.com. Data collection and usage are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to: (a) engage in fraud or abusive chargebacks; (b) distribute malware; (c) infringe intellectual property; (d) harass, threaten, or defame; (e) circumvent technical protections; (f) scrape product data at scale; or (g) misrepresent affiliation.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date and, when feasible, providing a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws applicable in our principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
